Peter Varga - Wilmot ward 1

I am proud to begin my campaign to represent Ward 1 on Wilmot Township Council.

Wilmot is a special place—a community defined by its rural character, strong neighbourhoods and people who genuinely care about one another. As our township continues to grow and change, we need thoughtful, responsible leadership that respects what makes our community unique while preparing for the challenges ahead.

Throughout my career as a registered nurse, healthcare executive, educator and community leader, I have brought people together, managed complex organizations and made difficult decisions with integrity, transparency, accountability and engagement. I believe that experience can make a meaningful contribution at the council table.

My campaign will focus on listening to residents, protecting the character of our communities, supporting responsible growth, strengthening local services and ensuring your tax dollars are managed carefully. I will approach every issue with an open mind, ask the difficult questions and work collaboratively to find practical solutions.

Most importantly, I want residents of Ward 1 to feel heard, respected and well represented. Over the coming months, I look forward to meeting you, hearing what matters most to you and earning your trust.

Together, we can help build a strong, stable and responsible and future for Ward 1 and all of Wilmot Township.
